Already 990 Kids … and Counting

Just a brief blog today to let our friends know that the Humanity Project is off to a flying start in this new 2012-2013 school year. In only the first week of classes, we presented our highly respected Anti-bullying Through The Arts program to nearly 1,000 kids. Well, 990 kids to be exact. The photo you see was snapped during our visit to Park Trails Elementary School in Parkland, Florida. Nice group of students, teachers and administrators … We enjoyed our presentations there.

Now we’re lining up more schools for this busy fall semester here in South Florida, where we’re based. But we also will export our program to the Chicago school system in a few months. We’ll tell you more about that as the time approaches. For now, we want you to understand that we’re working to get this program to as many young kids as we can — because we know it works. And the empirical testing conducted by teachers at each school shows this is true. If you’re interested in having the Humanity Project visit your school, just shoot us an email or give us a call by clicking on the “Contact” link in the menu listing above. We’d love to add your students to the expanding number of elementary age children who are learning our important lesson: “Bullying hurts everyone in this school … and it takes everyone to stop it.”

HI Shelly — This is a difficult problem … but it’s something you can handle if you learn how. We are creating a new website for kids your exact age called http://www.thp4kids.com. It will include advice from other kids who are a little older, high school age kids, about how to deal with bullying and other problems. We are going to email you some of their advice for now, since the website is still under construction. Hang in there and look for our email in a few minutes. Thank you for contacting the Humanity Project! We think our advice can help and will email it right now!
