To create and implement innovative programs that teach children and adults how to use cooperation and social connection for individual development and grassroots community improvement

Shared Value For You

We are very pleased today — no, we’re really excited, actually. And we hope you’ll take a few minutes to check out the reason why. There’s a new page on our website that offers some information for you. Valuable information, we believe … information that can help you live a better life. The Humanity Project’s Shared Value Page was written for the general public in order to better explain one thing: how individuals can incorporate our main ideas about cooperation and social connection into their daily lives, effectively and sensibly. (We don’t expect most folks to wade through our 14,000 word philosophical paper on this topic, though it’s available if you would like to read it of course.) We do think many of you will enjoy taking about five minutes to read the new article, “What Can Shared Value Do For Me?” You’ll find it at this link: http://thehumanityproject.com/programs/sharedvalue.   At the Humanity Project, every program and community effort we undertake is based on this single concept of shared value. It’s grounded in psychology, explaining how individuals can act in ways that benefit others and themselves at the same time, a win-win approach that also helps society as a whole. We believe you’ll find our new article interesting and useful. And we would love to hear from you if you care to learn even more about how to apply this idea in your own life. Thanks! Oh, and Happy Autumn to you all from everyone at the Humanity Project!
