All Mommies Welcome
At the Humanity Project, we love mommies. We understand some of the challenges and frustrations, as well as something of the rewards, that mothers everywhere experience. And we deeply appreciate the efforts of these women to raise healthy, caring, fully contributing human beings. As has often been said, parenting is the toughest job in the world.
So today we’re very glad to announce an important new partnership. The Fort Lauderdale Mommies organization represents moms all over South Florida, from southern Miami-Dade County up through Broward to the very top of Palm Beach County. This group is part of the national Mommies Network, a 501c3 nonprofit just like the Humanity Project. Both nationally and locally, these mommies help other mothers to find support and friendship and even some fun in their communities. They provide discussion forums, kid-friendly activities where mothers can meet each other, Moms’ Nights Out and more. The Humanity Project is proud to officially partner with the South Florida chapter. Already, we’re serving as a resource for their members to find information on bullying and how to stop it. We’re planning many other ways to help their members — and we feel sure their members also can help us to grow and reach more people. For more information about Fort Lauderdale Mommies, visit their website at http://www.fortlauderdalemommies.com. (You’ll also find this on our Links page from now on.) Our big thanks to chapter president Donna Maisel and all her Fort Lauderdale Mommies members for their partnership with the Humanity Project. We’re going to accomplish some good things together.
