Calling All Facebookers …
Well, ok, “Facebookers” may not be a real word. But maybe it should be. This strange phenomenon, Facebook, has become such a huge part of modern culture all around the world now, with many millions of folks spending many millions of hours on the FB website. “Facebookers,” right?
Anyway, just a brief blog today to ask all you Facebook fans out there to help out the Humanity Project. It’s very easy and painless — and we won’t bug you with emails or anything else. Basically, we need you to go to our new Facebook official “Page” and click the “Like” button. That’s it. The Humanity Project prides itself on being at the forefront of the new media revolution. We had a blog and podcast before many people knew what those words meant. We were among the first nonprofits in South Florida to have Myspace, Facebook, NING and Twitter pages. But our 400+ Facebook “Group” page is being phased out by Facebook. So we had to create a new spot for us on FB using their “Page” format. Here’s a short link to the new Humanity Project page: http://tinyurl.com/66seq7a … Just a click, then a quick “Like” if you would be so kind. Thanks for your support. As we remind you often, your help for us allows us to do more to help others in our community.
