Let’s Go Social
A relatively brief post today, in keeping with the topic. Social media, especially Facebook and Twitter. We hope you may want to “friend” us on Facebook by joining the Humanity Project’s online branch for free. You can do that at this link: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=32102310237 We’d also love you to become one of our Twitter
followers. Just go to this link: http://twitter.com/#!/Humanity1. Then “follow” us, joining more than 1,300 other Twitter supporters. Our Facebook chapter has more than 400 members so far … and it’s growing. Facebook and Twitter help us to spread the Humanity Project’s positive message: We teach kids and adults how to use cooperation and social connection for individual development and grassroots community improvement. We do this through our innovative programs, as well as original writings and other materials such as our fables for adults and our free monthly podcasts. Facebook and Twitter give us additional ways to connect with our friends. We’re grateful for these opportunities and would encourage each of you to participate in our social media. While you’re at it, you may want to consider signing up for our free monthly email newsletter. Just look to the right of this page for that link. (We don’t ask for a lot of personal info, just your email. And we don’t share it with anyone. You’ll only receive our once-a-month newsletter except in the rarest cases, such as disasters when we may recommend how our members can help.) Anyway, yes, I’ll keep the blog short today – just a few words about some new media ways to keep up with the latest news and information from the Humanity Project. Thanks!
