The Humanity Project

Teaching action for the greater good that also serves our highest individual interests.

Humanity Music

Art teaches. Art motivates. Art inspires. The Humanity Project’s innovative programs, writings and other materials include much original art of all kinds: fables that convey our mission through entertaining tales for adults; music videos that show kids why helping others also helps them; musical compositions that express this group’s optimism about humanity. Our latest addition to the Humanity Project gallery can be found at this link: http://thehumanityproject.com/?page_id=58  It will take you to our “Videos/Music” page, then just open the “Featured Piece” to listen. We think you’ll really enjoy this short, joyful original composition for orchestra and children’s choir, which runs about a minute and a half long. It now becomes the permanent theme music for our free monthly podcasts. (In the middle of each podcast, you’ll also hear new original music of all kinds, serving as musical interludes among our great interviews and stories and discussions about the Humanity Project’s work.) Yes, our group is about making a difference in the real world. This means creative, proactive new programs that help stop school bullying, gang activity and much more. But part of that effort involves using art as a tool for teaching cooperation and social connection. Art really does teach … and motivate and inspire. We think our new “Humanity Music” podcast theme sets just the right tone for everything we do.
