Works Of Art
An extraordinary woman reached out to connect with the Humanity Project recently. Since then we’ve come to understand more about just
how extraordinary she is. Haikaa Yamamoto lives on the opposite side of the United States from our group, in Los Angeles. She found us on the Internet. Haikaa wanted to know what she could do to help the Humanity Project. But we want you to hear what she’s doing to help the world through her music. Haikaa Yamamoto is a talented singer and songwriter who spent a year and a half putting together her “Work Of Art” project. This original song, composed with her husband, is performed in 19 languages — including some very obscure tongues such as Guarani M’ Bya. (Haikaa met with this remote Brazilian tribe personally to get the translation and pronunciation.) You can find her wonderfully inspiring “Work Of Art” music video on YouTube. Just click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F3ph9QPCb8. These are Haikaa’s own words about her project: “I wrote the song ‘Work of Art’ as a sort of reminder of who I am and what really matters to me. From a broader perspective, this is a song that celebrates the uniqueness of every individual and the unlimited diversity that results from this uniqueness.” To find more about Haikaa, go to her website at http://haikaa.com. We applaud her idea, her effort and her work. The Humanity Project thinks that Haikaa Yamamoto is indeed a work of art … and offers us a beautiful reminder that each of us is a work of art too.

Hi Humanity1. This is great effort by this young woman. What a tremendous achievement for her and what a credit to the organization to inspire her. Congrats!
We think she’s quite remarkable. Your comment is much appreciated! Thx!
